On 6 October, Fuji Rumors said its sources now put the X-T6 announcement in November 2026, as long as there are no further delays. Camera Jabber and Photo Rumors have repeated it, but both credit Fuji Rumors, so this is still one source.
Why it's late
For months the X-T6 was expected in early September. That didn't happen. Fuji Rumors blamed software that needed more work, then component shortages and rising costs.
What it means for recipes
Nothing yet. If the rumoured new film simulation is real, it would arrive with this camera. Until Fujifilm announces it, recipes for the X-T5 and other X-Trans V bodies are the newest you can shoot.
How sure we are
Unconfirmed: a single rumour site, repeated by others. Fujifilm hasn't announced a date. We'll update this page when it does.
